India’s First Street Circuit In Hyderabad To Host Formula-E. Here’s All About It

Hyderabad is all set to host Formula-E with India’s first-ever street circuit. The Hyderabad street circuit is the first of its kind in the country and it is all ready to commence the Formula-E race league. Needless to say, motorsports fans are beyond excited as India is hosting the super thrilling race for the first time. Excited to know about this street circuit? Hyderabad Traffic Police Announced The Traffic Restrictions Ahead Of The Formula-E

Nestled near the heart-shaped Hussain Sagar lake, the circuit will host the Formula-E race and also the 2022 Indian Racing League. The Hyderabad traffic police have already made the announcement of traffic diversions near NTR Marg from 16 November to 20 November. They posted the diversions with the caption, “Commuters, please make a note of traffic restrictions/diversions in view of Formula E Race at NTR Marg on 16-11-2022 from 2200 hrs to 20-11-2022 till 2200 hrs”. Here’s All You Need To Know About India’s First Street Circuit In Hyderabad:

  • The track layout of the circuit is 2.83 km. It was 2.37 km previously but it has been changed now. Driven International released a version before and that was 2.37 km.
  • This year, the track comes with extra turns. Previously, it featured 12 turns and the latest track has 17 turns. A point to note here is that more turns are beneficial for the sport as it increases the options to overtake the competitors.
  • Hyderabad street circuit will make its debut with the opening round of the 2022 Indian Racing League starting on 19 November and will continue till 20 November.
  • The same street circuit track will also host the much-anticipated 2023 Formula-E race. This race will take place on 11 February 2023.
