IndiGo Set To Operate Daily Direct Flights Between Delhi And Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Odisha has steadily emerged to be a significant destination for lakhs of travellers. Be it for tourists or students flying to colleges or for other reasons, thousands and lakhs of people fly to this state. Now, IndiGo is all ready to strengthen air connectivity with Odisha by launching direct flights connecting New Delhi. IndiGo recently announced daily direct flights between Jharsuguda and Delhi. The flight services on this route are set to begin in the next month.

IndiGo Flights Connecting Delhi & Jharsuguda To Start Soon

Taking to X, the Airports Authority of India (@AAI_Official) recently announced the grand beginning of flights and a new direct link connecting the national capital and Odisha’s emerging industrial hub.

This is a new route of the IndiGo flight network and it aims to provide enhanced flight experiences to all the passengers. This brings an incredible opportunity for a boost in economic growth not only in Jharsuguda but the entire state of Odisha. Commencing a direct link between these two cities in India is surely a part of IndiGo’s plan to improve domestic and regional air connectivity and accessibility.

In the X post, the Airports Authority of India mentioned being in close coordination with aviation stakeholders and they are working on unveiling a wide range of options for many flight routes. Their coordination aims to provide an extensive network of flight connections to different destinations regionally and also brings many airline options.

IndiGo’s latest launch of daily direct flights between Jharsuguda and Delhi promises to offer seamless travel journeys for the passenegrs. Along with enhanced experiences, it also aims to unlock newer opportunities in this region in Odisha.

Here’s All About The Airline Operating Flights On This New Route:

• Flights will start operating on this route from May 15, 2024.
• IndiGo flight 6E 0458 will take off from Delhi daily at 3:20 PM. It will land at the Delhi airport at 5:10 PM.
• Flight number 6E 2274 will depart at 5:40 PM from Jharsuguda. It will arrive in Delhi at 7:40 PM.
