IndiGo Starts Daily Mumbai-Ras Al Khaimah At Just Dh625

Beginning September 22, 2022, IndiGo will provide new, daily nonstop flights between Mumbai -Ras Al Khaimah. From Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT), the carrier is starting with an introductory price of Dh625. IndiGo is the most budget-friendly Indian airline. Ras Al Khaimah stands as the 11th location in the Middle East. It is also the 100th worldwide in the 6E network.

It’s difficult to even imagine that airfare to travel to another country can be this affordable. But IndiGo has made it possible and its services have already commenced. IndiGo currently provides countrywide service to 74 cities and towns in India. The new route improves the connection in the area even further, as intended by IndiGo’s business strategy.


The maiden flight landing was an event of celebration for the Emirates. Mr Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo flew on the first flight to Ras Al Khaimah. He entered Emirates with a warm welcome from Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi. Mr Atanasios Titonis, Chief Executive Officer of RAK International Airport, and Mr Stanislav Bujnovsky, Director Of Commercial and Business Development also joined in the celebrations. The aeroplane, which was carrying 180 people from Mumbai, met with a formal water cannon greeting as it glided to the gate.

Airlines Flying To RAK International Airport From India

There is only one direct service from Ras al Khaimah (RKT) to India at the moment. Air India Express from Kozhikode, Kerala (CCJ) operated the airport. SpiceJet used to provide regular flights to RKT from Mumbai (BOM) and Delhi (DEL). However, according to OAG statistics, the flights stopped operating in March.
