IRCTC Meghalaya Package Covers 5 Places In 7 Days At Just ₹23,760

Now you can take a 7-day trip to the pristine land of Garo, Khasi and Jaintia hills at just ₹23,760 per person. IRCTC Tourism has launched a 6 Nights 7 Days Meghalaya Package to let nature-loving tourists immerse in the magical beauty of the northeast. The trip will cover destinations in Meghalaya like Cherrapunjee, Mawlynnong, Dawki and Shillong. The itinerary will also incorporate the wilderness of Kaziranga in Assam.

Day 1 & Day 2: Guwahati, Kamakhya Temple, Umium Lake, Shillong

The trip will start from Guwahati from where guests will get a pickup and drop facility to their hotel. On the second day, they can have breakfast at the hotel and before proceeding towards Kamakhya Temple, the shrine that is known to worship the menstruating goddess. From Kamakhya Temple, they can visit Umium Lake and then finally reach Shillong where they can explore Ward’s Lake and Lady Hyderi Park.

Day 3: Cherrapunjee, Elephanta Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister Falls

After an overnight stay in Shillong, the tourists can visit Cherrapunjee, Elephanta Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister Falls and other nearby tourist spots. At night, they need to get back to their hotel in Shillong.

Day 4: Dawki And Mawlynnong

On Day 4, tourists can explore Dawki and Mawlynnong, also known as the cleanest village in Asia.

Day 5, Day 6 & Day 7: Shillong, Kaziranga, Guwahati

Guests can have their breakfast at the hotel in Shillong before heading out for Kaziranga. After an overnight stay at the Kaziranga hotel, tourists can enjoy a jeep safari in Kaziranga at their own expenses. Then they can depart from the Kaziranga hotel and proceed towards Guwahati for an overnight stay. They must get ready to return early morning the next day.
