Yes, we’re referring to one of Europe’s best-kept gem- Italy. A study conducted by TravelSupermarket has picked Italy as the best holiday destination. Well, we’re not surprised! Offering the best of city and countryside, Italy has a little something for every kind of traveler.

A study conducted by Travel website- TravelSupermarket has identified Italy as the number one holiday destination. The study used Google’s Keyword Planner to identify the average searches across various countries. Italy was a clear winner for people in the U.S., Canada, Russia, Brazil, China, Mexico, and India.
However, Spain topped the list for people in U.K., Iceland, Norway, and Algeria. It was also identified that Italians picked Spain as their chosen getaway. Australians craved a vacation to Maldives, according to the survey.
Joey Tyson, travel editor at TravelSupermarket said: “Interestingly, European countries dominate the most Googled holiday destinations globally with four out of the top five being located on the continent.”
