Jaipur Literature Festival is widely considered one of the biggest literary and cultural events in India. It is one of the few events that happen on such a grand scale but the entry is free. Here are a few highlights from the first four days of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Jaipur Literary.

Day 1

The event began with the inauguration ceremony and a tribute to Pandit Kumar Gandharva. This day included enlightening discussions from luminaries like Gulzar, Anjum Hasan, Raghuram Rajan and more across sessions like ‘A Bigger Picture’, ‘Prophet Song’, ‘Lessons In Chemistry’, and more.

Day 2

The second day had two aspects, a publishing conclave and a music stage. The publishing conclave witnessed yet another series of enlightening discussions on the nitty-gritty of the industry. Luminaries include Urvashi Butalia, William Dalrymple, Richard Osman and many others.

The music stage held at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur, featured an exclusive lineup of uber-talented artists like The Revisit Project and Prabh Deep.

Day 3

The third day of the festival also had two aspects. One was dedicated to the publishing industry again. Though, this time, it focuses on the aspects that often go unheralded. Speakers include Vikrant Mathur, Naveen Kishore, Priya Kapoor, and many more.

The other aspects featured awards, book launches and several discussion sessions. It began with a moving rendition by Trio One World which combined the Piano, a Western classical instrument with Tabla and Sitar, Indian classical instruments.

Day 4

On the fourth day of the biggest literary event in the world, the illuminating discussions continued to thrive. Luminaries who graced these discussions include the likes of Perumal Murugan, Shashi Tharoor, Sudha Murty, Vishal Bhardwaj and many more!
