Haven’t we all grown up reading about Disney princesses and their happy endings? Well, if you’re also someone who happens to love the perfect fairytale stories and mesmerising weddings, then chances are you love to stream royal weddings. After all, the grandeur and the festivities alone can put a dreamy smile on anybody’s face. And recently the grand wedding of the Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Rajwa Khalid Alseif took place on Thursday, June 1. Here’s all that happened at the royal wedding.

Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Rajwa Khalid Alseif got married in a dreamy wedding ceremony, which was followed by a star-studded reception. According to a news report by the Hello! Magazine, among the guests, were the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, and a sister Pippa Middleton. As it happens, the beautiful bride arrived at the Zahran Palace in a 1968 Rolls-Royce Phantom V.

Not to mention, she wore a regal wedding dress designed by the renowned designer, Elie Saab. Moreover, Queen Rania wore a high-neck black Dior dress, which featured gold-toned embroidery on the back. Besides, the beautiful wedding ceremony, the motorcade that happened with the newlyweds, was certainly one of the biggest highlights of the wedding. It really did give people a reminder of the time when their majesties, King Abdullah II, and Queen Rania waved at the crowds in a similar procession after their wedding.

The Newly Weds Cut a Seven-Tiered Cake!

Now, coming to the reception, the majestic seven-tier cake was certainly the highlight of the party. As the crown prince and his modern bride used an heirloom sword to cut through the beautifully decorated dessert, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan proudly watched on. Talking about the cake, this seven-tiered white cake was adorned with blue flowers, which signifies trust and commitment. With such deep meaning behind the beautifully decorated cake, it really did stand proudly in the centre of the banquet. As it happens, Princess Iman and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiótis had also cut a similar multitude cake that boasted minute vine decorations.
