Every time we interview our guests, we love gaining insight into their personal philosophies and how they navigate the ups and downs of their lives. This time, our guest was someone who also helps others in navigating the ups and downs of their lives! Our Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani sat down with the Astrologer Arun Pandit and had a candid conversation about everything from fate to food!

Kamiya Jani Relishes Sattvic Fare With Astrologer Arun Pandit

We relished the nutritious and enriching sattvic food with a modern twist from Sukoon. Our simple yet tasty spread consisted of Ragi Dosa, Gunpowder Idli, Sabudana Thali Peeth, Jowar Bhel, Rainbow Noodle Salad, Khichu Chaat, Kudo Millet Khichdi, Bharva Karela and Tawa Fries.

And of course, how can we forget the dessert? We gorged on some lip-smacking Gajar Ka Halwa! Is your mouth watering yet? We also savoured some equally delightful insights with the Panditji. He talked about the importance of food in astrology.

He talked about how it is important to be mindful of the planet even when having daily meals. As an example, he cites the importance of incorporating milk into your meals on Monday. On Tuesdays, it is prudent to include any red-coloured item in your meals and so on.

Since Panditji is from Kanpur, we asked him about some food recommendations that anyone visiting the town should not miss. He gave two very interesting answers. The first recommendation he gave was “Thaggu Ke Laddoo.”

He said that the brand’s tagline is that there isn’t a person “jisko humne thaga nahi hai.” (There isn’t a person we haven’t duped.) The next recommendation he gave us was Badnaam (infamous) Kulfi. We’re certainly noticing a trend here with these suspicious names serving delicious food!

Kamiya also spoke to him at length about whether one should believe in astrology and what is the role of fate in one’s life. Want to know all that they discussed? Click on the video and watch the full episode!
