Actor Suraj Kumar AKA Dhruwan Has Leg Amputated After Major Bike Accident
As per an article by India Today, 24-year-old Suraj Kumar went on a bike ride to Ooty from Mysuru. At 4 pm he tried to overtake a tractor and that’s when he lost control of the vehicle. Reports suggest he hit a tipper lorry located near Hirikati Gate in Gundlupet. This happened at around 4 pm. The Kannada actor was immediately taken to a private hospital in Mysuru.

On the evening of June 25, Suraj Kumar, 24, was on his way to Ooty from Mysuru on his bike when he overtook a tractor and lost control. Reports stated that he hit a tipper lorry near Hirikati Gate in Gundlupet taluk around 4 pm and was rushed to a Manipal hospital in Mysuru. Suraj Kumar underwent major injuries on his right leg for which doctors had to amputate it below the knee to save his life.

Suraj Kumar is a relative of the prestigious family of legendary actor Dr Rajkummar. He is the nephew of Dr Rajkumar’s wife Paravathamma and the son of Kannada film producer, SA Srinivas.

After the unfortunate accident, the actor is recuperating at a private hospital. Relative and actor Shiva Rajkumar, the son of Dr Rajkumar, and his wife, Geetha visited him at the hospital.
