The actress keeps sharing some glimpses from New York through her social media handles. Recently Karishma shared an Instagram story where she could be seen trying out some classic French delicacy.

What was it? There was foie gras with a slice of toasted bread. Karishma captioned the picture as “Foie gras in New York”. Foie gras is a French delicacy made from the liver of force-fed ducks and geese. On her table, some fresh vegetables with grated cheese were also seen. Karishma relished this scrumptious French delicacy on a Sunday morning.

The production method of Foie gras is quite controversial. Birds are forced to feed more than they normally eat in the wild to fatten them before slaughter. This process is called the gavage.
