Kerala makes it to CNN Travel’s list of 19 places to visit in the year 2019.
What Is It?
From the golden beaches to the lofty mountain ranges, Kerala has it all and it welcomes all the travel enthusiast to come and witness the amalgamation of culture and nature. Kerala becomes one of the top 19 places shortlisted by CNN this year to travel to and we aren’t surprised, considering how easy on the eyes Kerala is. CNN’s report mentions Kerala as “God’s Own Country” and we could not even disagree on that considering Kerala has it all: sun, sand, sea, houseboats, amazing food and wildlife.
This inclusion of Kerala in the list will not only give Kerala’s tourism a boost but also help it get back to track after the 2018 floods. However, most of the tourist places were untouched by the floods. Talking of places to visit, you can visit Kovalam for a good surf, Varkala to relax on the beaches, Munnar to witness the gift of nature in the form of tea plantations and the Periyar National Park.
