Aymanam was the setting of author Arundhati Roy’s famous novel ‘The God of Small Things’. The village was also the residence of the author during her early life. It is home to beautiful temples, heritage buildings and striking art forms. Aymanam is also one of the best places to try the local coconut-infused dishes. From taking a stroll through the forests, hearing the loud chirping of birds to watching art forms like Kathakali and Kalaripayattu, Aymanam can promise you a truly immersive experience.

The List Also Includes Sikkim, Rajasthan, Goa And Meghalaya
Not only Kerala, other Indian tourist destinations like Sikkim, Meghalaya, Odisha, Rajasthan, Goa, Bhimtal and Kolkata have also made places in the Condé Nast’s global list. Under Sikkim, the list has talked about the Pakyong airport and the spectacular Vivanta Sikkim in Pakyong, which is home to the only heated swimming pool in the state. While listing Rajasthan, the Jaipur Literature Festival has been brought to light. The Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra has also been mentioned in the list. These destinations have been listed along with countries like Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Qatar, Japan and Egypt, among others.
