LED Board On Mumbai’s Haji Ali Road Mistakenly Displays “Smoke Weed Everyday”

Whatever time you’re reading this, it is 4:20 at Haji Ali. In an unprecedented turn of events, that shocked many drivers and pedestrians alike, the LED board at Haji Ali had some hottakes a few days back. Usually, it is desired that the drivers on the road remain relatively calm so as to avoid cases of road rage, but it seems that this LED sign came up with an… unconventional way to accomplish this.

LED Board At Mumbai’s Haji Ali Made People Gasp

LED traffic boards usually display messages that are cautionary and sometimes even corny. This singular board at Haji Ali, however, took things too far. Maybe the person who was in charge of this board got too carried away with holiday spirits, (wink wink). Or maybe they just forgot to add “do not” at the beginning of the sentence. Whatever the reason might be, it sure gave passersby a sight to behold. The following video which was posted on the 20th of December, 2022, shows the sign.

LED Sign Blazes Laughter

The 12-minute video posted by the Twitter user Akshat Deora has been circulating on social media and has gone viral. The video is shot from a moving vehicle and the caption reads “Haji Ali, Mumbai – Sign now says smoke weed every day”. The video has gained more than five thousand views and close to 200 likes. All the fun and jokes aside, it is important to remember that by law, smoking weed or marijuana is prohibited. Under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985, smoking weed is strictly prohibited and if you’re caught, you can be put in jail for a long time.
