Inspired by Singapore’s ‘Tree Top Walk,’ the trail stretches from Kamala Nehru Park to Doongerwadi’s serene woods. Entry costs ₹25 for local citizens and ₹100 for foreign visitors. The BMC’s Hydraulic Engineering Department has invested approximately ₹26 crore in this ecological attraction.
The walkway’s highlight is the ‘Sea Viewing Deck.’ It provides breathtaking vistas of Mumbai’s coastline and the Arabian Sea. Constructed with wooden railings, supporting columns and joint connections, the structure blends durability with aesthetic appeal.
A thoughtfully designed lighting system ensures that the trail remains accessible and enjoyable during evening hours. Safety measures include an ‘Access Control System’ regulating visitor numbers. It will have a capacity of 400 people and will have designated emergency exit routes.
