What Is It?
Until December 2019, the prices for a Malaysian visa on arrival have been slashed for Indian citizens. Initially, a Malaysian visa would cost you nearly 45 dollars (approx ₹3000) and now it has been slashed only $20 (approx ₹1400). Instead of going through the regular procedure to get a visa, travellers will now have to register for a visa here. It’s an online registration facility by the Malaysian Government to obtain a tourist visa for 15 days only!

To obtain a visa through this link, passengers will need to show a valid passport (not expiring for the next 6 months), a passport-sized photo, a return ticket for Malaysia and proof of accommodation there. Basically, all your bookings in Malaysia should be done before you go for this visa method.

Immigration
The documents necessary for immigration will be the approved visa obtained from the website, boarding pass, return ticket, sufficient funds in your account, and accommodation details.
Validity
The visa is only valid for 15 days of travel. Once the visa is obtained, the passenger should travel within 90 days.
