Mallorca is one of Spain’s most popular and scenic destinations. Famous for its picturesque surroundings and beach resorts, it is also the largest of the Balearic Islands. This serene place is often included in most travellers’ itineraries. Recently, a tragic accident occurred at one of the beachfront restaurants on this Spanish island. Unfortunately, many people suffered injuries and a few of them lost their lives.
At Least 4 Died At Medusa Beach Club On Spanish Island
Taking to X, Alt Right España (@ModoAlt) shared a few videos of the shocking incident.

Medusa Beach Club grabbed all the spotlight on Thursday after it partly collapsed at around 8 PM. The famous place located on Mallorca’s Spanish island is close to the beach and had multiple storeys before the sudden collapse reported on May 23. The viral pictures show terraces constructed on the middle and upper floors, according to a report by The New York Times. Some officials stated that at least four people lost their lives in this accident.
Pictures and videos of the collapsed beachfront restaurant are making rounds on social media platforms. These show the critical conditions of the place and how concerned departments were rushing to rescue everyone under the wreckage. Looks like some parts from the upper floor broke and slumped on the ground floor.

According to a report by Deccan Herald, over 16 people present at the spot suffered from injuries last night. Some Spanish news outlets confirmed afterwards that 27 people were injured. Though several reports confirm the falling of the terrace parts, there are no certain updates on whether any part of the building behind the terrace crumpled too.

It Was A Severe Accident

Pictures and videos on social media show rescue teams arriving at the spot and working relentlessly to find anyone trapped in that situation. The collapse was so critical that people fell under the debris.
