Dubai’s original waterpark is ready for visitors again. Wild Wadi Waterpark reopens on Sunday, 1 November, after several months behind closed gates, and it returns with its full set of rides plus a few new things to eat.

The Rides Haven’t Gone Anywhere

Wild Wadi has been splashing away on Jumeirah’s coast since 1999, and it still has 30 rides and attractions with the Burj Al Arab looming in the background. Jumeirah Sceirah remains the one that gets the screams, dropping riders from a height of 32 metres. Tantrum Alley is the twistier option, while Burj Surj is the family-friendly pick for anyone with smaller swimmers in tow.

Tickets And Timings

UAE residents can get in from AED149. Discounted tickets are also on sale in advance for anyone who wants to be among the first back through the gates. The park will open from 10am to 6.30pm, seven days a week, and weekends will come with live entertainment and family activities.

If you’re heading over on a weekend, arriving at opening time is a smart move. Weekends are when the extra entertainment is on, which usually means a livelier crowd too.

Where To Eat Between Slides

Hunger is sorted. Surf & Tacos is the newest addition, a Mexican spot that joins the existing food line-up. Surfer’s Burgers and Firecrust Pizza are there for classic post-slide cravings, and Wave View Café rounds out the sit-down options. If you’d rather keep it simple, Dhow & Lagoon Kitchen serves shawarmas and salads.

Making A Day Of It

The park is open for roughly eight and a half hours, so there is room to pace yourself. Heading to Jumeirah Sceirah early, while queues are likely to be shorter, then breaking for lunch at Surf & Tacos or one of the other counters, makes for an easy rhythm. Families with younger children can build the afternoon around Burj Surj and keep the bigger drops for the grown-ups.

Seasonal Plans For The Months Ahead

The park has special celebrations and offers lined up for the coming months, including around World Children’s Week and Movember. Keep an eye on its official channels for the specifics as those dates get closer.
