Heading to the Giza Pyramids Plateau? Your questions can now be answered on WhatsApp. Orascom Pyramids Entertainment has launched a free AI-powered virtual assistant that gives visitors practical information before and during their trip.
What The Assistant Can Help With
The service covers tickets, transport, facilities, site rules and key landmarks across the plateau. Visitors can ask it to locate restaurants, cafés, shops and restrooms, and check photography rules, drone restrictions and other regulations.
Directions are available for the main landmarks, including the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.
Where The Answers Come From
Responses are drawn from information verified by Orascom Pyramids Entertainment’s operations team, in coordination with the Supreme Council of Antiquities. If a question falls outside that verified information, the assistant points users to the relevant authority rather than guessing.
How To Access It
The assistant is free and runs on WhatsApp. QR codes are placed at the Visitor Centre and around the site, so you can scan one on arrival. You can also reach it online through wa.me/201043288426.
Part Of A Wider Visitor Upgrade
The launch comes under a protocol between Orascom Pyramids Entertainment and the Supreme Council of Antiquities, which aims to improve visitor services at the Giza Plateau.

Why It’s Useful
A plateau of this size can be confusing, especially for first-time visitors juggling tickets, transport and a long list of rules. Having answers in a familiar messaging app means fewer queues at information desks and less guesswork on the ground.
