Business Tycoon Mukesh Ambani donated a whopping ₹1.5 crore to Lord Venkateshwara Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. Ambani visited the shrine on Friday with Radhika Merchant, daughter of entrepreneur Viren Merchant and fiancé of Anant Ambani.
The Reliance Industries chairman offered prayers at the hill temple and then handed over a draft of ₹1.5 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), as per reports. Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani Parimal shared pictures from his visit to the temple. She wrote that Ambani visited the temple to seek blessings before launching Jio’s 5G services.

Mukesh Ambani Performs Abhishekam At Lord Venkateshwara Temple In Tirumala
At the temple, Ambani also took part in the holy bath or Abhishekam at daybreak. He received prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam, which sits on the southeast of Sampangi Pradakshinam inside the shrine. Before departing from Tirupati, Ambani also visited the Goshala or the sacred animal shelter and fed bananas to the elephants, along with his soon-to-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant. He also sought blessings from one of the elephants which touched his head with its trunk.

Lord Venkateshwara Temple Lies On The Seventh Peak Of Tirumala Hills
Lying amid the verdant hills of Tirumala, Lord Venkateshwara Temple is one of the prominent pilgrimage spots in Andhra Pradesh and receives a large number of devotees from all throughout the globe. Lord Venkateshwara is a form of Vishnu. According to mythology, Venkateshwara had rescued the world from Kali Yuga.
The shrine lies on the seventh peak of the Tirumala Hills, known as Venkatadri. There are seven peaks in The Tirumala Hills, symbolic of the seven heads of Sheshanaga.
