Vande Bharat plies at a speed of 120 kilometres per hour and Namo Bharat runs at 160 kilometres per hour. These are the fastest trains in the country as of now; but not for long. Soon, India will get its very first bullet train which will ply at a speed of a whopping 320 kilometres per hour!

The train will connect Ahmedabad in Gujarat to the Financial Capital of the country, Mumbai. It will have a total of 12 stations in between. All of these stations will have thematic architecture. For instance, the Sabarmati Bullet Train Terminal has motifs related to Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March.

The terminal in Surat will have motifs related to diamonds as it is known as the diamond city of India. In Ahmedabad, the terminal will have kite motifs. The theme for Mumbai is yet to be seen. The route stretches across 540 kilometres.
