This is something Rajeev Shukla faced during his recent trip to Mumbai. In a post shared on X (formerly, Twitter), Rajeev claimed that he ordered a veg meal from Worli’s Barbeque Nation. Dead Mouse In Veg Meal, Man Hospitalised For More Than 3 Days

In a sad turn of events, a man from Uttar Pradesh was hospitalised in Mumbai after he found a dead rat in his meal. Rajeev Shukla, a lawyer from UP, took to X (formerly, Twitter) to share his nightmarish experience with Barbecue Nation in Worli, Mumbai. According to the post, Rajeev ordered a vegetarian meal box from BBQ Nation on 8th January 2024. The curry in the meal ended up having a dead mouse which led to Rajeev becoming extremely sick. He had to be admitted to a hospital for 75 hours.
Since he consumed a major part of the meal before coming across the dead rat, he suffered from food poisoning. He was admitted to BMC’s BYL Nair Hospital and shared a picture of the same with his post. He even added pictures of the bill, a packed bag of the restaurant containing the meal, and finally the disturbing image of the dead mouse inside the food.

No Complaints Filed So Far; No Actions Taken By BBQ Either
As per the X post, Rajeev wasn’t able to file an official complaint as Nagpada Police Station hasn’t accepted his FIR yet. He further explained that he emailed BBQ Nation to complain about the adulterated meal. However, there has been no action from the famous restaurant chain.
