Pirwadi Beach In Navi Mumbai Offers A Slice Of Heaven
The 2 km long Pirwadi Beach, is the only beach in Navi Mumbai. According to a report by Hindustan Times, over 300 tourists from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane visit Pirwadi beach during the weekends. The white sand beach is known to be a wonderful hangout spot for people who wish to spend a day here. Chetan Gaikwad, the sarpanch of the gram panchayat revealed to Hindustan Times that while there was a drop in tourist footfall during the peak of the pandemic, people have once again started visiting in large numbers. The beach has a dargah on one side. Pilgrims from Raigad often visit this dargah.

This Underrated White Sand Beach Is Breathtaking
To arrive at the dargah from Mumbai, you can take a boat from Bhaucha Dhakka at Mazgaon. Pilgrims from Raigad, Mumbra and Thane can commute by bus. The mesmerising sunset, clear white sand, crystal blue crashing waves and ancient temples located around, are some of the reasons why it’s a favourite among patrons. Sudheer Mane an activist from Uran said to Hindustan Times that Pirwadi Beach is as good as any beach in Mumbai, Murud and Alibaug. And you’d have to visit Pirwadi Beach to know why.
