Neena Gupta Was A Cook At Mumbai’s Prithvi Cafe; She Cooked Delicious Baingan Ka Bhartha | Curly Tales

Actors Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher sat with Curly Tales Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani for a fun discussion in the latest episode of Sunday Brunch. Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher starred in the film Uunchai recently, and both received undue appreciation for their respective roles. On Sunday Brunch, Neena shares her first solo trip, her old work post, how she keeps herself fit and her initial time in Mumbai.

Neena Gupta & Her Time In Prithvi Cafe

Neena Gupta lived in a PG during her initial years in Mumbai. During those times, Neena would receive a free meal if she cooked her version of the delicious baingan ka bhartha. As no meals were provided in the PG, this would make a great addition. In Prithvi Cafe, Prahlad Kakkar was the friend who offered her to make this particular dish and, sometimes, Irish Coffee too. And Kakkar offered her to cook after tasting the delicious preparation himself.
