Thanks to the marvellous forts, imposing tombs, splendid cafes and colourful markets, India’s New Delhi has been ranked the third best capital in the world by Bounce, a luggage storage firm. The ranking has been given to 69 capital cities in the world based on factors like tourist attractions, cost of transport, restaurants and weather conditions. Malta’s capital Valletta has grabbed the topmost position in the list and UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi has received the second position.
New Delhi Ranked The Third Best Capital City To Visit On A Vacation
According to a Times of India report, Cody Candee, CEO and Founder of Bounce stated, “India’s capital New Delhi ranks as the third best capital city for tourists in our study. Rich in history and culture, architecturally beautiful and an amazing place to shop, it is not surprising that New Delhi ranked in the top three capital cities to visit on vacation.”
The study revealed that the average cost of hotel in New Delhi is USD 101.87 (around ₹7,632.84), which is approximately USD 35 (₹2,623.88) less than the average cost of other capital cities. Also, New Delhi has 290.61 restaurants per square kilometre which is the second-highest of any capital. Also, Delhi’s IGI Airport Has Bagged The Title Of Best Airport In India & Central Asia For The Third Consecutive Year.

Abu Dhabi Declared One Of The Safest Capitals; Bangkok Found To Have Best Average Temperature
Out of 10, New Delhi has bagged 6.06 points. Valletta and Abu Dhabi earned 6.74 points and 6.24 points respectively. The 4th and 5th positions have been given to Bahrain’s Manama and Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh. Abu Dhabi has been ranked the second safest capital city in the world after Liechtenstein’s Vaduz.

Luxembourg City was found to have the most inexpensive public transport. Bangkok has been declared the capital city with the best average temperature.
