No COVID-19 Case In Patanjali Campus, Says Yoga Guru Ramdev

While many experts are considering Haridwar’s Kumbh Mela as a superspreader of coronavirus, Yoga guru Ramdev has said that no person in Patanjali has the infection. He refused reports by a segment of media of COVID cases inside the main campus of Patanjali Yogpeeth. Swami Ramdev added that new patients who came to the inpatient department and new students who came to Acharyakulam underwent COVID-19 testing and 14 visitors tested positive. He said those patients were not permitted inside the research institution’s main campus.

Taking to Twitter, Swami Ramdev said, “No person is infected with coronavirus in Patanjali. Those new patients who came to IPD and new students who came for admission to Acharyakulam, we got them tested under the SOP of COVID protocol. Only 14 visitors were positive and they were not allowed inside the main campus. Apart from this, all reports are rumours and lies. I am regularly doing live programmes of yoga and health from 5 to 10 am daily.”

Swami Refutes Media Reports Of Corona In The Campus

Recently, a section of the media reported that 83 inside the Patanjali main campus tested positive for the virus. Addressing the media, Swami Ramdev said, “No coronavirus cases are there in the Yogagram, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharyakulam or training centres. In Acharyakulam, every year, 200-250 new admissions take place. Every day, nearly 50 patients come to Patanjali Yogpeeth. 50-100 patients come to Yogagram. Before they come, corona test is done for them. Some patients who had to take admission to Acharyakulam tested positive. We quarantined them. We then provided admission to those who could be given admission. Those who were to be sent back, we sent them back to their homes. It is a rumour that Patanjali has corona cases.”
