Noida To Get The Biggest Biodiversity Park In Delhi NCR

Noida authorities are ready to chop down 3,000 trees in order to build the city’s largest biodiversity park.

What Is It?

The Noida authority is willing to shell out ₹50 crore on the 75-acre park in Sector 91 which will be ready in the next six months. The authority plans to clear an area of 75 acres while chopping down around 3,000 trees and plant about 5,000 native trees and around one lakh other shrubs and plants including 19,625 ornamental ones.

What’s In It?

The Biodiversity park will include fruit trees and have ornamental trees, cycle track, walkways, water bodies, and an amphitheatre.

Deets

The park will be constructed in Sector 91 area of Noida and is scheduled to be ready by next year.
