We are sure that all the Christopher Nolan fans are currently super excited for his latest offering ‘Oppenheimer’. This excitement can be easily seen at the advance booking section. The upcoming film is witnessing a huge surge in the number of people booking the shows and this has led to something record-breaking. The movie becomes the first non-franchise one to have shows at 3am in Mumbai.

The eagerly awaited movie Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, is getting closer to release on July 21.  Movie buffs and Nolan fans have reacted enthusiastically to early bookings, as the advance bookings have already begun.

Due to the overwhelming demand, movie theatre chains have decided to run shows in the early hours of the morning. Many famous movie theatre chains in Mumbai have added two show timings : 3am and 3:30am to the normal show times.

Oppenheimer is notable for being the first independent film to receive such a massive response before its release. Early morning programming had previously only been reserved for high-budget franchise films like Avatar: The Way of Water and Marvel Superhero flicks.

Other Movie Theatre Chains Might Follow

Looking at the crazy response from movie buffs and Nolan’s fans for advance bookings, other movie theatre chains might also follow the show timings, like Mumbai.

The plot of this movie has captured the attention and interest of the audience so well that the bookings are overflowing. More than 15,000 seats have already been reserved for IMAX, according to market analyst Girish Johar.  According to his estimations, this excitement is only going to increase.

Oppenheimer will star Cillian Murphy as the narrative’s protagonist. It also boasts a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Rami Malek, and Florence Pugh. Notably, the suspense movie also serves as Christopher Nolan’s first biographical film that centres on real-life individuals. (As per News 18)

 The movie is all set to clash with ‘Barbie’ on July 21.
