New Murraba,19Km Downtown Is Coming To Riyadh

The New Murabba Development Company (NMDC) was officially launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman. He also serves as its chairman.
The New Murabba plan will be created with sustainability in mind. Anticipate green spaces, walking and cycling pathways, and other features. All these features will improve the quality of life by encouraging active, healthy lives and social interaction. Also, it will have over 80 entertainment and cultural venues. A renowned museum, a university for technology and design, a multifunctional immersive theatre, and more.

This New Downtown Will Be Just A 20-Min Drive From The Airport
The 19 km space will accommodate thousands of people. The 25 million sqm of floor area is divided strategically into 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms & 620,000 sqm of leisure assets. 980,000 sqm will be covered by retail & 1.8 million sqm will be dedicated to recreational facilities.
All these spaces will be organised in a manner that anyone can walk within a 15 min radius. Don’t fancy walking? Don’t worry it will have its own internal transportation system.
The project will be developed by NMDC, who will also construct the “Mukaab,” a magnificent iconic monument equipped with cutting-edge technologies. The “Mukaab” will be the world’s first experiential attraction giving an experience. It’s made possible by digital and virtual technology using the most advanced holographic.
This endeavour of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund, is the creation of the New Murabba Development Corporation.
