What Is It?
You will now see and be able to travel around in ‘Tuk Tuks‘ or autorickshaws in Liverpool, UK. Behind the venture is startup Ola in collaboration with automakers Bajaj and Piaggio, who have designed and built these bright fleet of autos. It was launched on 22 March 2019 in Liverpool.
The idea was brought to fruition after Ola made its entry into the UK, August 2018. It now provides services across the country such as Exeter, Bristol and Bath.

“I have been driving passengers around the city today and have really enjoyed the chance to discuss the challenges that the community faces and how we can help with our new technology. We are celebrating bringing more travel and employment choices to Liverpudlians with our ride-hailing app with the help of the community choir,” Ben Legg, Ola UK’s Managing Director, said in an interview with Financial Express.
