Passengers At Delhi Airport Can Now Use ‘DigiYatra’ Without Downloading The App!

In order to make travel seamless and hassle-free, the government introduced DigiYatra. However, to avail of this service, passengers had to install the application on their mobile phones. But, this has changed for Delhi Airport passengers! At Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, users of the DigiYatra service are no longer required to download an application.

The project was launched at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport, according to a statement released on Thursday by Delhi International Airport Limited. This will allow users to access the facility through a simple three-step registration process.

As part of the registration process, travellers would be required to scan their boarding pass and face, as well as provide identification documentation to the security personnel stationed near the registration counter. The passengers can freely roam through the terminal, the area of the security checkpoint, and the boarding gates after successfully registering.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, at Delhi Airport, the authorities have been working nonstop to enhance the traveller experience. Anyone can utilise DigiYatra to its fullest extent and travel conveniently thanks to our most recent project.

DigiYatra, which went into effect on December 1, 2022, promises faster passenger movement to boarding gates, hassle-free travel, increased security, and dedicated gates while being completely contactless, saving passengers at least 15 to 25 minutes.

At the moment, DigiYatra provides service to every departure gate in Terminals 3 and 2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The newest service provided by DIAL will be an addition to the existing DigiYatra mobile application, which enables travellers to register on their handheld mobile device for a seamless and hassle-free airport journey.

So, if you are at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, then you don’t need to install an application to use DigiYatra.
