The snowfall started on Wednesday evening in some areas, while others saw snowfall on Thursday morning. Baramulla, for one, has turned into a winter wonderland post the heavy snowfall. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways of India, shared a splendid video in X (formerly Twitter) that captured the railway line on the Baramulla – Banihal section operating despite the heavy snowfall.
