Poland Now Welcomes Indians Vaccinated With Covishield; No Quarantine Required

If you have been waiting to travel to Poland, your wait is now finally over. Yes, Poland has relaxed travel rules for Indians which means that you will not need to quarantine if you are vaccinated with Covishield. Poland gave a nod to India’s Serum Institute made Covid-19 vaccine Covishield. This grants the inoculated traveller the permission of expemting the quarantine upon arrival in the country.

Covishield Shares Equal Status With Other European Union Approved Vaccines

Serum Institute’s Covishield now shares equal status with other European Union-approved vaccines. India had to earlier make a plea to several European countries to accept Covishield and Covaxin for Indian nationals travelling to Europe. While Covaxin is yet to get a nod, those vaccinated with Covishield can now have some breather.

the Polish Embassy here said in a tweet”Poland has recognized #Covishield as a vaccine equivalent to those recognized by the European Union, exempting from quarantine after entering the territory of the Republic of Poland.”

Fully Vaccinated Indians Will No Longer Need To Quarantine In Both UK & US

Earlier this month, the UK also announced that Indians fully vaccinated with Covishield will no longer need to quarantine on their arrival in Britain.
