Who does not love street food? We all do right? Ask any actor and the one thing that they miss is randomly going out with friends and relishing street food. So we thought of taking our guest Radhika Apte on the Sunday Brunch X The Bombay Journey to eat some yummy street food. She tried a street-side cheese sandwich stuffed with Lays chips and this is what she thinks.
Radhika Apte Tries A Famous Cheese Sandwich
Our Chief Editor Kamiya Jani and Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan were having a very fun interview with actor Radhika Apte in a car. Just then they thought of pampering their guest with a yummy street-side sandwich. They took her to Vasu’s Laxmi Balaji Snacks Corner in Goregaon and made her try their famous cheese sandwich stuffed with Lays chips.
As soon as the dish arrived, Radhika took in the delicious aroma and said “Yeh khana khake bhot saal ho gaya.” (It has been years since I ate such food). She was surprised when Siddharth explained to her about the sandwich having Lays in it. She loved the sandwich, who won’t?

She Got Back To Eating Meat During The Pandemic
Radhika Apte used to love to eat meat. Guessing it’s the Maharashtrian genes in her that were the reason for it. But she left eating meat around 7 years back and is on a vegetarian diet. But during the pandemic, she got back to eating chicken. While she doesn’t eat it regularly, Radhika Apte eats meat once in 2 months. She also spoke about her love for fish but stopped eating it because she now dives and is a deep-water diver.
