Ramadan 2023: 32,000 Iftar Meals Were Distributed Under The Supervision Of UAE Embassy In Yemen

The month of spreading generosity is attracting multiple campaigns by charitable organizations in the UAE & the entire Middle East. In light of Ramadan, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation have made its contribution. The foundation under the supervision of the UAE embassy in Yemen has successfully distributed over 32,000 Iftar meals. The meals were distributed across six Yemeni governorates.

Iftar Meals For Fasting

Aden, Abyan, Lahij, Shabwah, Hadramaut, and Taiz governorates were engaged in the campaign this Ramadan.
In a bid to improve the economic situation for the locals, particularly during the Holy Month, the initiative “Iftar For Fasting” was planned to provide 32,000 meals to families and those relocated to certain governorates.

The government in collaboration with charitable trusts arranges such initiatives to offer help and food to the Yemeni population during the holy month of Ramadan. Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s values of generosity are in line with these initiatives and campaigns. This will in turn decrease the gap between the countries.

The director general of the charitable foundation explained that in order to provide food assistance to thousands of people they have started a campaign to break the fast in a number of Yemeni governorates. During the campaign, 2,133 meals will be distributed each day for 15 days under the supervision of the UAE Embassy in Yemen.

Ramadan Campaign To Provide Yemeni Population

The foundation has introduced this campaign under the slogan of Zayed Goodness. The distribution under this campaign doesn’t limit to UAE or Yemen but is sent over to 40 different countries worldwide.

This non-profit, non-governmental charity organization is reaching out to different countries in UAE to provide help to the populace. The Foundation stated that “Sustainable Giving” embodies the idea upon which it was founded as a charitable endowment. The trust takes its name from the honourable late founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The prime goal is to support sustainable philanthropic and humanitarian projects, activities, and events both inside and beyond the UAE. Additionally, it advances social and economic growth and enhances people’s quality of life.

This Ramadan, don’t forget to contribute to the act of generosity.
