On this fantastic episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani visited Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s office for some scrumptious Manipuri and Haryanvi delicacies! Over such an elaborate and delicious spread of food, we also had a lot of fun conversations with the couple. From how they met to how their married life is treating them, we spoke about it all! We found out how much the duo loves food and how each of them influenced the other’s preferences over time!
Randeep Hooda Made Lin Laishram Fall In Love With Paranthas
Over a finger-licking spread of Manipuri dishes, Lin Laishram revealed that before meeting Randeep Hooda, she was not a fan of parathas. Kamiya had asked them whether Randeep had made Lin try some Haryanvi dishes; that’s how the conversation started.
Lin then went on to say that parathas never appealed to her. However, she then saw how Randeep Hooda had them – doused in white butter, sweet chutney and spicy chutney. He then broke the paratha into smaller pieces and relished it.
Seeing how enticing the paratha looked, Lin tried this unique way of eating the flatbread herself. Lo and behold, she was hooked! Now, she says she loves parathas with all her heart and had she not met Randeep, she never would have known the delectable joy she was missing out on!

She Had No Clue How Famous He Had Become!
When asked about how the duo met, Randeep revealed that they were working together in Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre crew. However, soon after that, Lin moved to New York. While there, the two became Facebook friends and would often chat.
Because she was not in India, Lin had no idea how famous Randeep was in India! Needless to say, once she found out, she was quite pleasantly shocked and surprised! That theirs is a marriage of diverse cultures. Love truly knows no bounds!
