Celebrating The ‘Captains’ Of Rapido For Making Commute Easier In Cities
Captains – as Rapido fondly calls all its bike drivers – are what made Rapido a success in a market that has many similar apps. So, on 9th January, they hosted a ‘Cab Mahotsav’ in Delhi to celebrate its fleet of more than 60,000 captains. About 600 captains attended this massive celebration and received prizes like fridges, washing machines, and televisions.
This event was a testament to Rapido’s hard work not just to provide its customers with a great experience but also to show its gratitude towards the people who make it work – its captains. Rapido’s co-founder, Pavan Guntupalli was also present at the event. He engaged with the captains, and spoke to them about their contribution to the company and its success.
A Promising Future Ahead With Lots Of Job Opportunities In Delhi
Rapido also shared its plan for further expansion in Delhi by creating more than 40,000 more jobs in the next two years. Meanwhile, in an industry-first, Rapido has adopted a zero-commission model that helps its captains retain a larger share of their earnings. Also, they have a minimal subscription fee from the captains that helps them maximise their income. These steps have ensured a prosperous future with economic benefits for the captains in the company.
With more job opportunities and retaining happy employees, Rapido sure knows how to keep its key support system happy.
