Dreaming of a staycation? Well, here’s some good news. Staycations are back in the country and you can book right away! Following the national disinfection program’s success, UAE is going a little easy on the restrictions. Ras Al Khaimah has now reopened staycation options, with beach and pool access.
What’s It?
Breathe in some fresh air and soak in the ocean view at one of the open beach resorts in RAK. The restrictions are now being lifted, and people are free to book vacations at the hotels. However, there are a number of important social distancing rules that still need to be maintained.

You can now book a fun staycation with your family, at any one of these hotels. It’s about time we all went on that overdue vacation, isn’t it? Well, but its important to bear in mind we are in the holy month of Ramadan, and there will be some added restrictions.
Open food consumption will be prohibited, amongst other things. Many would think it’s a little too soon to be heading out of lockdown, however, this ease of restrictions has only come about as a result of the successful disinfection drive. Other hot spots are also opening up such as malls, and a limited number of restaurants. Health authorities continue to remain strict with the standards of hygiene that need to be maintained.

What Else?
Meanwhile, Emirates Airlines have begun to operate limited flights to five destinations around the world. Starting from May, the local airline will be making one-way flights to five cities. The passenger services will be launched to Frankfurt, London, Manila, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai. The only people that will be eligible to get on these flights are residents of the aforementioned countries. They will also be needing to meet certain entry requirements. All health and safety measures will be carried out, and only a limited number of baggage will be permitted on the flight. Cabin baggage will bot be allowed. After each journey, the flights fill be thoroughly sanitized and disinfected, for the next trip around.
