According to an article which was recently published by TimeOut, in addition to having a wide variety of flora, this park will also have a large pond, a meadow, a pergola, a lookout tower, and much more. What is more, since the garden is dedicated to the Queen, the flowers planted there will be the ones that were significant during her reign.

As per the article, the straight path that stretches to the middle of the garden represents the unwavering loyalty and service of the late Queen. The stunning sketches reveal a tranquil haven for adults and children alike. The garden will definitely be a favourite of the locals.

As of now, the site is brownfield but once the work for the garden is complete, it will be a biodiverse piece of green land that will provide respite from the hustle and bustle of the capital city. The garden is created using sustainable design which adds to its charm.

The officials conducted a public engagement in the month of January of this year. The response they received was overwhelmingly positive. As with any other big city in the world, London could always use more open green spaces. As such, the garden is very welcome.

It is also estimated that the park will be completed by the year 2026. This year would have been the late Queen’s 100th birthday.
