Soon, residents can rent GPS-operated cycles in Dubai, thanks to the government’s new initiative with Careem. Over 3500 bikes will be launched in the city, in a bid to promote a healthier lifestyle.

Dubai residents can soon cycle around the city in cool bikers thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The RTA, in collaboration with Careem, will soon launch 3,500 new bikes in the city.
The initiative is an attempt to promote a healthy lifestyle and also reduce traffic in the city. Residents can rent cycles across 350 dedicated bike stations in various areas in the city.
The bikes will be well-equipped with a GPS tracker and you can pay using your credit card, NOL card or through the S’hail smartphone app. How cool is that!
In fact, Dubai also has new cycle tracks added in areas like Jumeirah, encouraging people to cycle around the city.
