Sachin Tendulkar Has A Fun Story As To How His Cricketing Journey Began

We can still hear enthusiastic chants from fans in the stadium yelling “Sachin, Sachin!” This episode is exceptional for Curly Tales and Sachin Tendulkar. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, interviewed the legendary cricketer for our 100th Sunday Brunch. This also coincided with his grand 50th birthday, what-a-wow! We learned about how he began his incredible journey of cricket, read on to know about it.

This Is How Sachin Tendulkar Got Into The World Of Cricket

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most humble people you will ever come across. Was this the case during his childhood as well? Well, he was once an extremely mischievous boy. So much so that his parents received complaints every day.

He shared one funny incident with us, where he and his friends were caught red-handed stealing all the mangoes from the mango tree during the summer season. Unfortunately, he and one of his friends ended up on the same branch. The branch couldn’t handle the weight and broke off from the tree.

After that, they were caught and Sachin’s brother, Ajit Tendulkar, insisted that he be sent off to Shivaji Park in Dadar because he would be productive there. This was in order to channel his energy into better things and that is when cricket came into his life. Looks like we have to thank Atul for this!
