Spearheaded by Alhasan Aldabbagh, President, Asia Pacific, Saudi Tourism Authority, this move signals the Kingdom’s recognition of India’s pivotal role as a key market for its burgeoning tourism sector.

With the introduction of this visa facilitation, Saudi Arabia is rolling out the welcome mat for Indian travellers. The presence of 10 VFS offices across India, coupled with plans for further expansion in the coming year, ensures seamless and hassle-free visa processing for eager adventurers.

Umrah Made Easy For Indians With 96-Hour Stopover Visa

In addition to leisure and business travellers, Indian citizens can now embark on their spiritual journey with ease, as Umrah is now accessible on business, tourism, and Umrah visas. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Saudi Arabian Minister of Hajj & Umrah, emphasized this groundbreaking development during his visit to New Delhi, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to facilitating religious tourism.

A highlight of this initiative is the introduction of a stopover program, granting a 96-hour free visa to individuals travelling via Saudi Airlines or Flynas, a leading Saudi low-cost airline. Furthermore, travellers holding a US, UK, or Schengen visa are eligible for an e-Visa or visa on arrival, further simplifying the travel process.
