Said the principal who promised to fulfil the wishes of meritorious students by giving free air tickets to any Indian destination of their choice. According to a Times Of India report, the principal held a prayer meeting to ensure the students of his promise to fund the air tickets from his own pocket. As most of the students belonged to lower-middle-class and middle-class families they never experienced air travel. So, this remained their life-long dream.
