Movies, the magic of the cinema makes us believe that the heroes on-screen are demigods. But the coronavirus has made us realise that everyone is simply human. Recently, many pictures of Shah Rukh Khan’s sprawling home Mannat went viral on the internet. Why? It’s covered in plastic sheets. Netizens wondered if it’s covered because of coronavirus. In actuality, it’s because of the Mumbai rains. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan converted his office into a quarantine facility. 

Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat Bungalow Covered In Plastic Sheets

Recently many pictures of Shah Rukh Khan’s home Mannat went viral due to the massive plastic sheet cover on it.  The actor’s house is covered every year due to the rains. According to local media reports, the house is covered in plastic due to heavy monsoon rains Mumbai that Mumbai faced recently.

This is not the first time ‘Mannat’ is seen this way. The actor gets it done every year, media outlets reported. Fans were quick to share the pictures of the multi-storey property that includes parking spaces, offices, guest rooms and more. It is estimated that previously, those who would come to Mumbai to visit would always go to check out Shah Rukh Khan’s home.

Coronavirus Hits Bollywood

Since the lockdown in India, King Khan has been staying in ‘Mannat’ with his wife Gauri Khan and children AbRam, Suhana and Aryan Khan. Mumbai in Maharashtra is home to many of Bollywood’s biggest movie stars. The number of coronavirus cases in the state has crossed 3,10,000. Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his family, including son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have also been infected by COVID-19.

Many of us are eager to catch up on movies. But they are either shelved or get launched on an OTT platform instead.
