While many people across the country were skeptical about being inoculated against COVID-19, the second wave left no option for people but to get vaccinated at the earliest. And though we are in a race to get a vaccine appointment on Cowin, some people especially in rural India, still lack information and motivation to get vaccinated. To encourage citizens to get vaccinated, the government has introduced an initiative under its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, where you can stand a chance of winning ₹5,000 by sharing your vaccination picture with an interesting tagline. Ten best entries will get ₹5,000 every month and December 31 is the last date of entry.
Share Your Vaccination Picture And Win A Reward
The ‘Share Vaccination Photos of anyone in your family including yourself along with a Tagline & Get Rewarded’ is an initiative hosted by MyGov. To date, millions of Indian citizens have come forward and registered themselves to be a part of the world’s largest vaccination drive. The contest has already gained significant momentum and saw a lot of participation. However, the main objective of this campaign was to create awareness about the importance of vaccines amongst Indians.

The Initiative Aims To Create Awareness About The Importance Of Vaccines
The initiative is a way to convince citizens to have faith in the process and come forward to get vaccinated. With the deadly second wave, India is looking at achieving herd immunity through mass vaccinations. MyGov is trying to make people aware that India’s pandemic fight is people-driven. While we must make an effort to protect ourselves by following the necessary protocols, this collective behaviour will help us fight against this virus and save lives.
