Why Is The Restaurant Being Closed?

According to multiple reports, the landlords of the building have been trying for a long time to evict the historical restaurant from the building and it seems that they succeeded. Marston Properties, the firm responsible for evicting the restaurant, have revealed their designs.

According to an article published in The Telegraph India, they revealed in court that they plan on gutting the restaurant to make way for a posh new hotel. India Club is slated for closure in the following month of September.
