Expressing his grief over the devastating fire in Notre-Dame, Paris, his Highness Sheikh Mohamed took to Twitter and wrote a heart-felt message.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces took to Twitter to express his solidarity for the massive fire that engulfed the cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris on Monday.

Sharing his thoughts on Twitter, he posted, “The world witnessed a terrible night with the burning of the historic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris. We stand by our French friends and mourn the damage inflicted on one of the oldest and most famous world heritage landmarks.”

A massive fire broke out at Notre-Dame on Monday, leaving France and the world in a state of shock. While the roof of the building has collapsed, firefighters have managed to save the main structure. Officials state that the fire could be due to renovation work which started off after cracks appeared in the structure.
