Sky Walk – A MindBlowing Attraction Is Coming To Downtown Dubai Soon

Imagine walking in the sky with a bird view of the majestic Dubai skyline. Add to that a balcony view of Burj Khalifa! Exciting and dreamy, isn’t it? Well, this dream is soon gonna be a reality. The soon-to-open Address Sky View is bringing us an awestriking skywalk as promised in 2017.

What’s It?

Back in 2017, Address had announced its ambitions to install a new attraction in Dubai. This attraction, called Sky Walk, would allow us to walk in the sky literally! And no, it’s not just another observation deck. Adrenaline junkies can walk on a 30-meter-long cantilever outside the 200-meter high observation deck. This will be located on Level 53 of the Address Sky View.

But don’t worry! A safety harness straps onto you, so you know it’s totally safe. The skywalk will offer spectacular views of the majestic Burj Khalifa as well as the Dubai Fountains. We are totally envisioning the fountains dancing to the tunes of a classic.

While the sky bridge has been a pretty hushed-up affair, we do have a word from 2017 on it. Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties, said: “Address Sky View is one of the prestigious upcoming developments in Downtown Dubai that not only features a world-class hotel and serviced residence but also the iconic Sky Bridge and now a new Sky Walk. Appealing to adventure seekers, Sky Walk will add to the touristic appeal of the city and offer visitors a never-before experience. Lifting the Sky Walk in place is a true engineering feat accomplished seamlessly by a team of experts from across the world. Sky Walk is another demonstration of the global collaboration that our nation promotes.”

What Else?

The Sky Walk will set on the sky bridge connecting the two Sky View Towers. The dual towered project will have 531 apartment residences and a 169-room luxury five-star hotel. The residents and guests will have access to facilities such as Basketball Court, BBQ Area, Golf Court, Gym, and a wide range of restaurants to dine at!

What’s more exciting is that the hotel is accepting reservations from November 1. So, we can expect the skywalk to be a reality sooner than we thought.

While you wait for the Sky Walk to open, do check out the celebrations for Expo 2020 Countdown in Burj Park this October.
