She described him as a visionary with a keen eye for talent, a trait she grew up witnessing firsthand.
Tulsi shared that she strives to carry forward her father’s legacy, not only through her music but also through entrepreneurial ventures, much like her father did. She talked passionately about her project, Kid’s Heart, a children’s channel that she oversees. She emphasised how she manages to combine her artistic and business endeavours.

She Feels Her Voice Matches This Actress Perfectly
When discussing her own career, Tulsi spoke candidly about the challenges she faced. Her journey, which began in 2006, was not as smooth as it might seem. She initially sang only a few lines in many songs. However, she learned invaluable lessons from music directors like Himesh Reshammiya, during this period. Her breakthrough came with the song “Tum Jo Aaye,” which solidified her place in the hearts of audiences.
When asked about her favourite collaborators, Tulsi shared her admiration for actress Shraddha Kapoor, noting that their voices blend perfectly. She recalled their memorable work together on Aashiqui 2. She also shared her love for performing on stage, although the solitude of studio recording holds a special place in her heart.
The brunch wouldn’t be complete without a discussion about food. Tulsi treated Kamiya to some of her favourite Delhi delicacies, including snacks from the iconic Bengali Market. The duo bonded over their shared love for good food and soulful conversations.
