As it happens, starting in October, Oman Air will directly connect Muscat to Thiruvananthapuram with four weekly flights. Oman Air To Begin Direct Flights Between Muscat & Thiruvananthapuram

According to a new report by Khaleej Times, it was revealed that Oman Air will soon begin its direct flight from Muscat to Thiruvananthapuram, which is also the capital of Kerala, a state in Southern India. The flag carrier of Oman, made this announcement on Thursday, mentioning that the flights will begin on Sunday, October 1. This will therefore connect the city of Muscat to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. According to the report, it was also mentioned that the two cities will be connected through their Boeing 737 aircraft. And for those who aren’t aware, this aircraft has the capacity to hold 162 people at a time. Additionally, the flight will be flying directly four times a week on the days of Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
In case you’re curious about the flight timings, on Sundays and Wednesdays, the flight will arrive at 7:45 AM in Thiruvananthapuram, while it will depart at 8:45 AM. Similarly, on Thursdays, the arrival is at 1:55 PM and departure is at 4:10 PM while on Saturdays the same is at 2:30 PM and the departure is at 3:30 PM.

Lucknow-Muscat To Resume Again
This development comes after. It was also recently announced that the Lucknow and Muscat routes will also resume on the same day, which is October 1. Yes, the carrier will operate nine flights between the cities and these will increase to 10 in December. It’s worth mentioning at this point that Air India Express already offers daily service between Muscat and Thiruvananthapuram. So, Oman Air is the second carrier to operate between the two cities.
