Spine-Chilling Video Of Bus Travelling Along Risky Chamba-Killar Road In Himachal Is Keeping Us On The Seat’s Edge

A video from Himachal’s Chamba-Killar route is going viral that can mesmerise and frighten you at the same time. On one hand, the video shows a bus passing through a gushing waterfall. But on the other, the road beside the waterfall is extremely narrow, which keeps us on the seat’s edge.

The video shot by Raman Sharma was shared on Twitter handle @TravelingBharat and it has received mixed reactions from the Netizens. While some are thrilled by the adventure, several others are concerned about the safety of the people inside the buses passing through the route.

Chamba-Killar Road In Himachal Is One Of The Most Dangerous Routes In India

This stretch from Himachal’s Chamba to Killar is jaw-droppingly magical and spine-chilling at the same time. Firstly, the road is too narrow for any vehicle to cross it. Secondly, it is bumpy. And thirdly, there are no railings beside it. Even a little carelessness by the drivers or passengers on this route can be fatal. The bus shown in the video belongs to Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). It is among the most dangerous routes in India. While passing through the route, the buses cross the high mountain pass Saach La, perched at an altitude of 14,500 feet.

Netizens Say That The Region Has Leopards Too

In the video’s comments section, a user wrote that while crossing this stretch, the passengers should ideally deboard the bus and walk. A user commented, “It’s a shame people still have to travel like in this in a country that boasts of being the 7th largest economy in the world for the past 10 years. Life has no value in India.” Another stated, “If you’re thinking to travel on this bus pls get down from that just before this ride, put your shoes on and just walk on your own legs, stay touched to ground and after crossing this portion, can again ride on. May God Help You.” Yet another wrote, “I would rather call this as suicidal than thrilling! I won’t be on that bus!” One user stated, “The region is full of leopards. Good luck with that.”
